So I haven't blogged in over a month because I accomplished the biggest thing on my list.

[X] Get my career started

I've been working since June 7th, 2010 at the Centre of Forensic Sciences. It's been a great experience but of course it's been hard adjusting to full-time work monday-friday, 6am wake ups, train rides, everything.

Since then I've also got a Mac and had a BBQ.

"Do something crazy"

[X] Go to Jessica's ballin ass Kegger

What a crazy night that had us start drinking at 4PM and knocked out before the UFC Main Event even started. A very successful night and party to say the least. I really hope Jessica had an amazing birthday because there is no friend more deserving. A fun night of flip cup, jerkin, random talks, face smearing, and lots and lots of beer.

PS: Joey is the most badass dog on this planet, he's as big as a wolf.

[X] Start biking

I've really stuck to this goal and I've been making the effort to bike as much as I can. I work morning shifts now at work and my mom has the car so instead of busing I've been biking to work. There's just something about biking that I missed from when I was younger and not yet driving.

[X] Fix up an old bike

I've been hunting and asking around for the last couples of days. Just my luck today is garbage day and someone threw this beauty out. The tires were flat, bike was dirty, chain was off, and more. I walked 30 minutes to a Shell station just to pump the tires of this piece of shit. The tires aren't in the greatest shape, and they wouldn't pump to the max possible but it'll do the job. I really wanted a second bike for days I bike to Erindale. I don't wanna risk losing my work bike so if this bike happens to get stolen I won't really care since it was found in the garbage. I'll probably pimp it out somehow.

The Office

[X] Set up an office in my room

This one is something I'm pretty happy with because when I originally was checking up ikea.ca for furniture I was gonna put a dresser in my room. I made the change for an office corner and never looked back. I'm always adding new stuff to it throughout the year but right now I'm pretty happy with it. Ballllllllllllin. (Note: my room is a little messy right now)



[X] Set up a PROPER aquarium
I decided a bunch of bettas were more badass and easier to take care of than a whole aquarium.

Kim's Rooftop

[X] Go to the infamous "Rooftop" (GREAT way to start the summer)

This was probably something on the list I was excited for but didn't know what to expect. The day was already epic enough bumping into LIGHTS (I've mentioned this over 100 times) but there was something about the area and the building I really liked. Once the exit door opened to the roof top and I saw even the smallest peak of the view I had goosebumps. When I finally leaned across the edge and took in the view I actually felt like I was in a movie. An amazing moment I'll never forget, and I really wish to have a view like that when I get my own place.
